A dude on my street has one of these. He wears capri pants, bandannas and gloves all year.
For that reason alone I could never even consider one.
It’s because everyone is big mad at Musk … even your comment about “there isn’t the infrastructure in place yet” would have gotten 20 clown reacts six months agoYep, surprised someone didn't bring it up already. Wouldn't consider it either way, electric cars in general do nothing for me and there isn't infrastructure in place yet for road trips across the country.
My girlfriend has one for work. My brother has one for work.Ford F150 Raptor and done
Lexus IS500 and a seat protector in the back. Keep your Toyota reliability, have what is one of the best engines on the market, and keep $20k in your pocket.

$80k means full X3 M imhoIf you don't need AWD and want a car, can you do an EV? I bought an i4 a few months ago and it's great. Love the hatchback, makes getting shit in and out of the back a breeze, fold the seats down for the dog, etc.
Edit: just read your electric car post...scratch that one off the list.
How about an X3 M40i?
He wants newId agree raptor, but if it's going to be a car ..shit can you get an m5 for 80 now...
I drove a Genesis GV70 when I was looking. It was super nice but so soft, it handled like a school bus.GV70 or GV80 for SUV. Macan is the real answer, but could exceed your budget (as you mentioned).
V70 or Allroad for a wagon.
Not sure about car. Best BMW 5-series or Audi 6-series you can get maybe? Or, if you can get your hands on one (they're only making 100), an Acura TLX Type S PMC Edition?
Big Toyota/Lexus fan but this car is already 5 years outdated in terms of tech and it just came out.
I’ve only driven a regular F150. Raptor always seemed badass a truck but I get it.My girlfriend has one for work. My brother has one for work.
I've driven both of them. Hate them.
Granted, I live in a place with shitty, narrow, small streets and parking lots with vehicle lines that are meant for Fiats.
I haven’t driven a 500, but agree that the IS is not huge in the back. Definitely workable for the occasional passenger, and plenty for a dog. Front is super comfy though.Awesome but yet not awesome...those are TINY inside and it doesn't drive as well as the German competition.
The touchscreen and CarPlay get rid of any issues with that stupid trackpad. It may be a bit dated in some ways, but that engine more than makes up for that.Big Toyota/Lexus fan but this car is already 5 years outdated in terms of tech and it just came out.
Driving it up to the cabin…. So much road noise with those tires.I’ve only driven a regular F150. Raptor always seemed badass a truck but I get it.
