Anyone got some legit results and pics???
Siders 785/635/840 (not official)
Miller 600lbs Squat
Siders went: 785/635/840 (and did a full meet last weekend)
Thompson went: 805/565/800 (Injured at the Arnold and only trained 6 weeks for NERB)
Miller went: 610/500/710 (made too much of a jump from opener to 2nd and 3rd - his 2nd and 3rd attempts were in the 800's)
Byrd went: 705/425/600 @ 210
Josh Bryant fucked his elbow up and dropped out, which sucks a whole lot.
I'll post more as I get it.
well the results are pretty much right on par with what I expected - pretty much the reason I didnt go. Its a real shame about Mike, I was hoping to see more out of him so he could shut down some of the hate he always gets, he isnt in top form right now battling some injuries and people that follow the PL world know he has some personal shit going on right now. But he hit a PR dead, so good for him. IMO he shouldn't have competed today, but people would have given him tons of shit if he didnt compete, but hes gonna catch even more now.
Someone know if Nick Winters showed up?
i went to that today it was pretty legit, some chick weighing 159 threw up 305 with ease
oh and that byrd guy u were talking about maine is ripped to shit, looks pretty small (relative to the others) and was still strong as fuck
then there was this supposed teen "phenom"...well this kid was less than impressive from the way he was being called a phenom, he squated 435 with difficulty then didnt make a low 500s attempt. while he was still strong nonetheless it wasnt anything to be called a phenom over
How old was he? That's not very impressive at all unless he's like 12.
website with a scorechart?
i think 2 of my friends competed in this wanna see how they did
this meet was invitation only
yea i know
Nick went 625, 650 and barely missed 675.
i think that might be this eddie debus guy, he posts on bb.com. Didn't he bench 405 and just miss around 700 on the deadlift though?
Yea I'm not mocking Miller, he doesn't even train raw, but you know that's gonna start some serious "OH NOES Squat Suit 600lbs Carryover " shit
yup eddie debus, yeah it was 405 i believe and i couldnt tell you about the deadlift cause i left by that point...his squat and bench while big, werent something id pay to see
He's a strong kid, just had a bad day
maybe it wasnt the squat suit for miller, but the fact he had to go to parallel? bwahaha
At least Miller showed up. I would like to see the video of his 800 though, thats a fucking huge jump
siders, dear lord!
