not trying to take anything away from that guy, but why isn't he getting flammed for doing half chins, he's barely getting his eyes up to the bar

pulling as far up as in the pic you posted with a wide grip can be hard on the shoulders....
also, with his development and strength I think he knows what he's doing....

doing wide grip pull ups as high as you claim they should be done would absolutely destroy you shoulders

i can only do 2 full wide grip pullups with a total weight of 260 lbs... very very difficult
are you serious, i dont even think my shoulders would bend enough to get me up that high
yeah but that photo that was posted isn't a wide grip version but u can still manage to get ur head over the bar doing wg pullups.
oh no doubt, but to get your chest at the bar would be completely different.. at least for me anyway
then those would be called chest ups
plus the angle of that photo makes him appear higher
