I got 6 reps of 225 for the first time ever on bench yesterday. I was pumped, I've never made good progress on bench. Nice work on the 215, moving on up feels good.
i would do a log but i really dont really have the patiance for one
My bench has been stuck forever.
my Db is making progress but only minimal progress on BB
Do you have a a spotter available when you bench? My problem for a while was lifting at home where no one was around and I'd puss out on that last rep or two because I didnt want to risk dropping it. Made a big difference to find a gym again where I could grab someone for a spot.

Eat a good meal, get pumped, and bang out 225.
people shouldnt post their PRs unless its impressive weight....
I need to get my pressing strength up. Most I can do is 225 at a bw of 155. I am so much stronger on a relative basis in pretty much everything else.
i worked out at my girlfriend's gym today...they only have DBs up to 120 so i did flat bench 120's x 12 x 2, then incline on the smith up to 365 x 4 (or whatever 3 plates and a quarter is on there) ...then we did some accessory stuff and then i was feeling frisky so i did some decline barbell up to 315 x 5, was pretty fatigued at that point. It's funny though how different the environments can be, it was like nobody there has ever seen anyone put more than 2 plates on a bar. Back to my regular gym tomorrow ...
relative term....no one with the exception of like 3-4 people would post then, people post enough bullshit in on this forum I don't mind reading how everyone else is doing, beside you can usually tell by the thread title.

well I really don't have the patience for people who don't have the patience for a new thread everytime someone hits a new PR since nobody made them click on the thread in the first place.
ok fine. at least 2x body weight on a lift we will consider 'impressive' for this forum

To him its a fucking accomplishment, you have to start somewhere. Good for him and Im sure he would love to move more weight eventually just like you have...

i guess what im doing is agreeing with gtlifter that it should go in ones training log and not main forum.
I understand that, yes sometimes its annoying for the regulars but whatever.
