Apparently...my very first post here was crap.
Sorry to piss off everybody.
somebody broke the 1st rule of OT....
also....HOLY SHIT YOU WRITE NOVELS FOR A LIVING?!!?? Cliffs?
Whats the first rule?
read "wanna look like a bodybuilder" and see diet.
Shit...I'm sorry guys. I type very fast. Sometimes it gets away from me and I don't realize. I apologize.
Thank you very much TZ.
The second rule is to check the stickies - all the information you need can be found there.
Watch your diet like a hawk, bust your ass in the gym every day - it's about all you can do. That said, you're not going to make much progress in such a short time - if this was so important to you, you should have really gotten an earlier start.
1. read the stickies man, especially the 25 pager.
2. come back with specific questions, not general ones
3. read the posts before posting, there is a lot of info in there about becoming healthier, as well as about the tone of F&N, so that you will recognize why posts like your first one in here get a poor response.
4. contribute when you can
5. good luck
I did start early. I started working out (because of the job) last June.
But being new to this...I didn't even know there was such a thing as "cutting".
Jesus...this first thread makes me feel like a total douche.
lol....gotta start somewhere dude
Just got excited...because I haven't really had anybody to talk to about this stuff. The only reason I'm not completely lost is because we had a guy on our rugby team in college that was studying to be physical therapist...and I still remember some of the things he taught me about lifting.
This last summer just made me rediscover my body. And now I'm not some skinny twerp like when I was much younger...I can actually put on muscle now. I wish I could everybody a job like that...one that just totally restructures your body so they could see how neat it is too. Having and using muscle thats APPLICABLE to their everyday lives.
I have so many questions. Sorry for the first flipped out post.
I promise to do more reading than talking until I learn the rules a little better.
This made me laugh.
It's a pretty common thing to do. Lurk for a while, start a log and go from there.
