well, I guess it's just a p&s with removable lenses... Kinda... Neat... I guess.
I have no opinions on this. What market is Nikon trying to fill on this? Looks REALY narrow.
is this supposed to be between a G10 and a rebel?(sorry i only really know canon models)
afaik it is the replacement for the d40
Thats just so damn nice
reminds me of my old Sony S50, the swivel screen was awesome
What's the big deal? It looks like a D60 with a swiveling LCD.
I was just hoping their next camera would be the d400.
swivel screen may just be a novelty (would have to try it for a few days to decide if I'd use it) but otherwise it's a nice upgrade to a D60.
Swivel Screen + Live view = whole lotta win!
Unpossible! OTAP has spoken and this camera has been deemed supergay!
Yup. I don't care what OTAP says, using liveview can be a bitch sometimes. When it's on the ground I still tilt the fuck outta my head to view the screen: crooked horizons ftl
ZOMG!!! And it has HDMI out, video mode, and a GPS terminal???? Holy fucking fail! Nikon should just file for bankruptcy now because the fanboys are going to stage a boycott!!!
Well, either that, or the market research professionals at a major corporation might just know a thing or two more about "bridge camera" demographics and user needs than the average OTAP shutter monkey.
no function buttons, no sale for me. thats the one thing i hated about my d60. i want live view and a movable screen, but i guess i will have to wait for the d90 to grow one.
Looks like this will be the next "DSLR-Like" line of cameras
I mean, honestly it's pretty much irrelevant to any of us, not to sound smug, but it is what it is. I'm just waiting to see what they're gonna do with the D400
sorry to sound retarded, and i didn't click the link (if it spells it out for me there) but what does the swivel screen do? like...why would you want it? whats the benefit?
Hmmmm...might be a clue.
say your one of those awesome pros who holds the camera above their head, this helps you see what you're actually shooting.
Is this an awesome pro?
That waist sash just SCREAMS "awesome pro"!
Am I the only one that doesn't use Liveview? I don't think I've used it for more than novelty on my 40D. Maybe just my shooting style?
Something looks off in those pictures of the camera to me. Like their either just PP'd weird or it's an extremely impressive 3D render.
Of course I have had a couple glasses of wine so that could be it too.
