I was snooping around Ebay and saw this
Must be hard to see anything through that, unless you're using the huge aperture.
it took me a few seconds lol
I do like the RRA product though. Wonder if it works well with a low mounted red dot, or is it too high up?
It looks like it would be pretty high, especially if you were using it with something like an Aimpoint where you need another mount. If you want a rear sight like that, and a red dot of some type, just get a cut down A2 carry handle sight and mount it and the red dot to the rail on the receiver.
I've got a carry handle on my flat top but was looking for a way to get an optic on there. Guess I'll just fine a BUIS.
Must be hard to look through that with the front sight digging in your armpit
ive got an aimpoint on mine and it works fine
It took me a second to figure out what was wrong.
didn't see it right away

on mah phone, can't tell what's wrong, will lol later
guys didn't you know... it's mounted in SCOUT mode...
that does seem like it would be handy (when mounted properly). as it allows the optic to be elevated over the FSB, but still allows the rear sight to be used by simply removing the optic. Probably cheaper than a BUIS and 1/3 co-witness mount for whatever optic you choose. Seems ideal for an EOTech.
I might give it a shot with a red dot. Pineapple Devil likes it, apparently.
You'll shoot your eye out
