So for the past few weeks I've been working on another personal site after work:

Basically, it keeps track of a few simultaneous chess games and lets people come in and vote for the next move. Every few hours it tallies up the votes and makes the move.

There's really no practical application for this, it was more of a self-teaching thing and/or resume fodder. I was also sorta curious what would happen if it became popular and we could see what would happen if the "internet" played itself at chess.

Right now I'm the only one whose voting :p

I figured that to make it more desirable for people to keep coming back, I would need some sort of login/stat-tracking system.. I'm working on that right now.

That's pretty cool. :coold: I'd love to see how the games would end up.

ya.. but i've found it's nearly impossible to motivate anonymous users :p i'll definately have to implement some sort of ranking system where you get points if you voted for the winning move or something.. otherwise no one will come back to vote again :wtc:
