ART Nikon 35mm 1.8G Good or no good?

Is this a fast sharp lens?


I think I am going to pass on the thrifty Fifty since it doesnt seem to be wide enough for me on crop.

I like it on FF but to tight on crop like a lot of you said.

From what I read and the test I did with my 28-90 zoom on DX and FF. I like the 35mm better. It gives me more room to work with.

I would love to get the 28mm 2.8 but this is a start.

Sharper than my 50 1.8 wide open, but lots more CA. Still, can't beat it for the money,

If you have to ask if the lens is good or not...it'll suit you just fine at 1.8 as it will most of us.

My 50 is pretty damn good. I just don't use it so I'm selling for an 85mm

i despise the 50 1.8 more than any man can despise anything

but it was ok before 2.8. 1.8 was
