well canon wins that one
500 shots off of the battery? that just doesn't seem/sound right
on a smaller sensor too. look at the size of the sensors.
I just furiously measurebated...and it was goooooood.
the canon has more MP, bigger screen, better ISO, and better, longer video
OMG! It has more MEGAPIXARS!!!! RAAAWWWWWRRRRR!!
1.5 > 1.3
Yeh that is weird...on the 5d2 after a whole day use and 3500 shots later the battery starts blinking.
yay, alpha 350.
I'm really liking that canon, and I'm a nikon fanboy.
Since when did Canon get a VR lens?
They both need to get with the times and start shooting in dng format
VR, IS... same shit.
Canon may win that one... but the nikon's probably got better build quality. the T1i is still a rebel after all.
As far as the ISO ranges go, the T1i may be expandable to 12,800, but it's useless. It's the same sensor as the 50D, with the same ISO range. 6400 is pretty rough, and 12,800 is absolute garbage.
im thinking of waiting for the T1i...
or would a d80/90 be better?
the batteries in these smaller dslrs are tiny now and i doubt they draw much less power than the bigger cams
werd, I want to see 3200 iso comparisons. Well I guess I could do that now with a 50D/D90.
D80-no (not CMOS)
Waiting? The T1i is already for sale at most retailers
more pixels on an smaller sensor is generally bad, no?
oh snap, it must have just been released, it was on pre-order everywhere not too long ago...
The rebels use a smaller battery, like the 450D and such use the LP-E5, just look at that dinky thing. Looks like a P&S battery.
i think late last wk
