as well as 16-85 VR
3 different TS lenses
It's so hard to keep secrets
I'm pumped for the 24 TS.. dont wanna spend all my money on it but prolly will.
What do TS lenses do?
anyway, D60 without the internal focus motor. screw that.
The D60 is
D60 = man so glad I got a D50...
D60 is a rebadged D40x. Kinda like what Canon did with the 20D ---> 30D.
that's gotta be one of the lamest releases ever
um, the tilt shift lenses are a pretty fucking big deal.
cuz the XSI was groundbreaking, right?
so you like the D60 now?
The D60 is just as unimportant to me as the D40X was.
One meaningless camera does not ruin a "release" that hasnt even happened yet.
It's got teh Live Viewz!
pretty much. these are the changes
Image sensor cleaning
Airflow control system
Improved easy to read GUI
In camera RAW processing
Stop motion movies
-/+ 5EV compensation (same as D80)
The D40x was a D40 with more megapixels. The D60 is a D40x with p&s junk. At least the 40D was a huge improvement over the 30D.
The XSI, K200D, and A300 are all better cameras.
So will that 16-85mm lense work with the D40x? How much you think it'll go for? That might be my second lense.
That a good pick for wide angle and maybe some close-up macro shots?
yes since it's an AF-S. it looks to be a pretty good lens. 24mm equiv
Think its worth it granted I have the 18-135mm f3.5 5.6G already?
only if you need a little more width
omgz i can add lensflare ON CAMERA!@?
ummm, no. the final version didn't include this feature, only the pre-production units did.
When you rotate the camera vertically the menu turns with it. iPhone style.
after being brainwashed with nikon's marketing, the d60 is starting to grow on me. d-lighting, the gui, and the rangefinder util are pretty cool.
I'm interested in the 60mm macro, but not if it's going to be priced at around $1000.
anyone know the prices of these new lenses?
The 60mm macro will not be priced that high. The 105mm macro was around $750 at release I think.
Why they released another macro lens, I have no idea. Especially when the 105mm VR is not only sufficient, it's also more desirable.
They should have released an 85mm 1.4 AF-S.
