Was just about to post this. This could be quite awesome.
nintendo continues to push the gaming industry (for good or bad ) in new directions
nm they are denying everything
they just released the pictures
Yet the graphics will probably still be worse than PSP.
gonna wait til E3 to see for sure but this could be pretty cool
key word: could
I doubt it since its rumored to be powered by the new tegra processors.
I think it will be pretty sweet if it has hdmi out and the ability to not use the 3d on regular tvs. The nintendo portable systems always have some fun oldschool 2d/ sprite games that the new systems are lacking.
Im sure if its not 3d its some other new way to play, possibly gimmicky possibly not.
e3 makes sense since next years e3 will likely be focused on new consoles if the 5 year cycle continues.
how much longer till e3 anyways??
I'm calling bullshit, but if they pull it off.
I'll wait for the 2nd gen of it though. not getting stuck with the fat version again.
it's usually in april / may, but this year's is in june
This is a handheld coming out within a year. Nintendo doesn't even support HDMI on its main console system system yet.
yeah lets compare technology coming out a year from now to tech that will be 5 years old
what the tegra is capable of
You're an idiot
wow just realized this is the official nintendo website
sorry if im not smart enough to believe nintendo is going to mimmic their old console strategy to the tee with a completely different market.
if it is indeed the head tracking stuff that one DSi game already has (with a beefed up system to handle that better) then there might actually be a lot of applications for it. one I thought of rather quickly was for a MGS game where you actually tilt your 3DS around to peak around corners. that 1) is intuitive and 2) potentially frees up buttons to use for other actions
there was already a video of this posted awhile ago, let me see if i can find it
I wonder how 3D will work on a portable system. IBVirtualBoyportable Anyway, this really came out of nowhere. Excited to see Nintendo show it off at E3
you tilt the screen to look at in-game objects from the respective angle
