Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but it's truck related. I’d been noticing a squeaking noise coming from the front area of my truck. When I pressed on the brakes the noise would stop, so common sense told me that I needed to have them looked at. I took the truck in today and it turns out that the pads were shot and the rotors were beyond resurfacing, so I had the front pads and rotors replaced, but the noise is still there. Also, if I turn the steering wheel a bit to the right, the noise seems to subside. Thoughts on what it might be? It’s an ’02 Sierra 1500 2WD.
