13" widescreen powerbooks get released... i may go in.
i wouldnt be suprised if thats one of the things they release on wedesnday.
4 new mac configs= new computers with new processors. intell wouldnt suprise me.
if that happens wednesday, i'm on it like oprah on a ham.
12"pb with yonah processor so I can dual boot 10.4 and xp pro(finally ill be able to sell my pc).
if they release intel powerbook, nevermind an intel THIS early, i might shat myself, but jobs has already said they will be out in 2006
do you guys think he's bluffing and is going to release em now!!!!????
the yonahs wont be out till 1st quarter of 2006. But, remember that news that apple was asking for chips early?
I doubt they got them. Plus, they would have to be ready to deploy os x86 to consumers, and i think we would have heard of something.
If you need a computer, buy one. Don't rely on something that doesn't exist.
Let's hope. Current 12" screen blows compared to the competition.
as far as pros and cons the 12" ibook is almost near as good as the 12" pb. i can't justify $600 more for a faster buspeed, and more vram.
good luck buying the first gen intel ones with 500 problems.
How is it? Did you have to have certain video hardware or anything?
I'm waiting for the intel powerbooks, same as colosodian
i'm thinking about maybe getting a desktop with intel, still don't know i have a while to decide.
I bought one of the 20" iMac's earlier today
disposable income must be nice
If there were Intel powerbooks with big fat drives, I would triple-boot WinXP/2003 Server, OS X, and Fedora Core. That would be GREAT for me. I would buy that powerbook. That being said... I am not really waiting. Cause a new powerbook doesn't even interest me unless I can run windows.
yep thatd be me too
not point in WAITING....software wont be ready until like 2007 :/ the software that runs on the rosetta core is going to be emulated...which means at like 1/3 the speed...even adobe said it'll take a while
I didn't pay for it. I've got a contracting gig with the government and needed a computer for my office. The iMac fits my needs perfectly and then some.
Paid for by your tax dollars... Once I remember to do my expense report
Have to wait for it to ship first
can you tell me more about this... newb to the mac scene thx
