messing around before work and heres the capability from 1x to maximum zoom
12 x plus digital zoom
I can only do 10x optical and 32x digital.
1x (no zoom)
10x (max optical)
32x (max digital)
: point and shoots :
lol i just got my digicam a few days ago. 4X optical/3Xdigital...not much compared to you guys bigshot cameras...but it was freaking expensive to me! i jsut wanted one that fit in my front pocket, recorded video/sound, and wouldn't break the bank.
I wish I could afford a DSLR.
My camera was only like $300.
Mine is x4 optical too. Casio EX-P600 for £298. I'm going to look around the sales for a decent DSLR even though I'm a n00b to see what's about. I was planning on saving some cash but I REALLY want a decent camera to go along side the almost P+S camera I have now. There are some shots I've missed out on already. The Casio is fantastic for the price, it just can't get those great long shots.
At the mall mine was $350. but i got it from bananapc.com for $250 lol. It's a Casio EX-Z40, my first digital camera. i figured i shoudln't spend too much on a camera that i had NO idea what it was capable of...so i got a decent P+S one i can play with till' i learn more.
Mine was ~ 400 and is not a point and shoot... 12 x optical and 4 x digital brings total to 48 x right?
Yes, and it is a point and shoot.
how can you tell? I thought there was 0 digital zoom if it wasn't P&S...but i might be wrong.
Any camera that isn;t an SLR is a P&S.
Penny pics of the lens that has magnification comparable to 48x or even 32x.
32x would be like 35-1120mm, and 48x like 35-1680mm?
that a rocket launcher?
Shishcobob was telling me that lens is 125k and requires a 30k down payment before Canon even builds the lens for you.
wtf i never said i owned one
I'll take half a dozen
