Buddies looking to buy one for his dad, anything decent in that range?
A few of the guys at the club buy Stoger's in 28 ga, but I don't really know much about them.
For trap/skeet use?
Mainly sporting clays, but year.
It's odd, seeing as how we are mainly Browning/Krieghoff snobs
Does it just make it more of a challenge? I looked up some 28ga ammo after you mentioned it, and it looks like there's only 3/4 oz of shot in them.
Oh you meant the 28ga in general? Yeah, I mean, I used to shoot in the 40's with 1 oz 12 ga shells. A lot of the older guys use the 28's because well, they're old and it's more of a challenge for them. The really good shooters will use a 410 and break in the low 30's
I've been enjoying some trap shooting with my 1100, I need all shot I can get. I really want to try 5 stand. My local range has a nice setup for it.
Yeah, you probably get the longest distance shots in Trap on a regular basis. 5 stand is fun, but we have a full 10 stand 12 acre sporting clays course.
Nice. My range just has 3 trap ranges (what's the proper term?) and the 5 stand setup.
bought this shotgun at academy for 450 with new front sight. When i first started using it, it was having a problem chunking shells. but it worked itself out.
nice gun for the money and i got to pull 6 guns out and check out all of the wood
I wish I could do some research on those, doesnt seem like a bad deal
No academy's around here
