Pocket Wizard bastards need not apply.
Cactus V4 here. Others have had success with the Yongnuo RF-602
search in ebay for ishoot. so far so good. No major complaints.
something like this.
I just ordered the Youngnuos and have heard awesome things about them, despite their price. I did quite a bit of research and my conclusion based on actual users (mainly Flickr and forums) was that the Yongnuos are the best bargain triggers.
However, CyberSyncs and RadioPoppers are both awesome options, albeit easily over $100-$200 depending on how elaborate you need.
PW ttl new shit, but will probably trade them for radiopoppers
CLS and/or Cactus v4.
Set D90 to "Awesome Mode"
Will be ordering the radio popper jrx set later tonight
I use a cable.
And optical slave on the second flash.
I have 2 580EX IIs and a 580EX. I just use any one of them as master and trigger the others through IR.
Cantankerously, who's in your av? Looks like a girl I know.
PW MultiMax, Elinchrom Skyport, Nikon iTTL
I think I'll be ordering some cactus V4's this week. I rarely shoot things where it is imperative that it triggers every single time and you can't go wrong for <$50
SU800 or PWs
CLS or Cactus, also have some calumet triggers that work very well
ctr-301p for me. Work great, and no adapter needed for my Sony's.
cybersyncs and or optical slaves
cactus here, modded and works, but pocket wizards are on the budget.
Same here. Great poppers. You ever get yours to work reliably at 1/250? I always have to use 1/200.
