Each team plays:

1) Six divisional games, three teams twice each (same row and color; each division is surrounded by a thick border). Example: Pittsburgh plays Baltimore, Cleveland, and Cincinnati twice each.
2) All four teams in a designated division of the same conference (same color). Example: Pittsburgh plays Kansas City, Las Vegas, the Chargers, and Denver.
3) The two remaining teams within the conference that finished in the same divisional position (same column). Example: Pittsburgh plays Buffalo and Tennessee.
4) All four teams in a designated division of the opposite conference (same row). Example: Pittsburgh plays Green Bay, Chicago, Minnesota, and Detroit.
5) One team – by divisional position – from a different designated division of the opposite conference (same letter). Example: Pittsburgh would play Seattle.
