The cars aren’t safe. Teams can’t modify any parts on the car and they all buy from the same vendors certified by NASCAR. So it’s a crapshoot

Single lug and the wheel and tire are lighter by 3 pounds. They can’t stamp the locking grooves into the steel wheels so they went to forged aluminum

Teams had some input but I believe it was pretty much forced by NASCAR

Especially when they do at that side to side. These cars aren’t as stable in pack drafts

Wow Blaney came on strong to win that stage by about a foot!

Nascar was amazing for a long time. It’s still pretty good overall I just dislike some of the changes but if you love it then that’s what matters. Motor sports FTW
