He was playing games in the East Coast league two years ago and he was just traded for a complete haul, what in the actual fuck.

It's a wild overpay, but he had a pretty big rookie year last season, and he's a hit machine. Plays a tough physical style that should be good in the playoffs.

If you are worth all these draft picks - how do you turn around and sign a long term mediocre deal like this? The salary cap is reportedly going up, this is close to league minimum. He is 25 years old and was undrafted, so it’s almost all UFA years which are maximum earning years. The whole thing is fucked
