I only had a small group of people to do raids with needed shit powered up. If you want to play the pvp part of the game it costs an ENORMOUS amount of stardust.

you get 30k dust each day if you play all your pvp sets and lose them all. There's really no investment required beside the time.

seems like there is a steep curve to go from "causally logging in" to "getting to do battles and raids and win fights" ... so I kinda don't care and just look for new pokemon every once in a while. I'm digging Pikman Bloom more for now.
