I'm a buyer at 75. Want to be 70Good start if it's cheap enough.
Did this back in 2018 and was a big part of why I ended up with a 911 today.Did a drive at the Porsche Experience Center in LA yesterday. 1.5 hours in a new Carerra S.
What a hoot, I had never driven on a track before, and my instructor was a former Indy Lights driver.
Track driving gets addictive hahaDid a drive at the Porsche Experience Center in LA yesterday. 1.5 hours in a new Carerra S.

I know at least two Cayman and one 911 owner who did the experience center for fun and ended up falling in love with the cars and buying them. It's cool that they offer it and it definitely gets people hooked on the brandDid this back in 2018 and was a big part of why I ended up with a 911 today.
I can't imagine Porsche making any money on these Experience Centers, but they make up for it building the brand reputation and image.

Yes, its like that for LA as well, but Porsche doesn't charge very much for the experience considering you get to beat on an almost brand new car, the 1:1 instruction with a pro, and consumables required for tracking a Porsche. The Porsche Atlanta center is always booked out. The restaurant is busy, they have events in the museum space. It is always busy.
Never been to the LA center, but I can’t imagine it is any different.
Those are not the correct fog lamps for a 761976 Carrera Turbo

I did a couple courses with the AMG program. While they are great cars but getting to speak with some of the instructors it reinforced how special Porsche cars are.I did the BMW Performance Center event at Thermal Raceway with a new BMW M4 and absolutely loved the experience driving the cars and driving on track.
So much so I decided to buy a 911.
Good job BMW for giving access to their performance cars, demonstrating how great they are, and showing how real amazing 911’s are!p by comparison!

I'd say the fact that the car has likely had both quarter panels replaced may be a bigger deal than the oil cooler (which is original/correct).Did 930s have oil coolers or did they just have a trombone like SCs and such?
I'm thinking so but I think Signal yellow was what was offered in '72. Could Gold Metallic?Def a 72 with the oil fill door. Yellow engine shroud sitting in interior = 2.4T. Originally Bahama yellow?
