Any one know what is involved with changing the gears in a 915 transmission? My car is geared for the track but it is less than ideal for daily driving. It is at 3800 RPM in 5th gear at 75 MPH. Can’t even take a phone call. Just plan on a transmission rebuild and swap gears while in there? Any shops in Orange County, CA that are recommended?

I've been enjoying watching used Porsches sit unsold at eye watering "2020 free money chip shortage" prices with their owners too stupid to realize no one wants to pay MSRP/over MSRP for their 7 year old non-GT 911 with 30k miles.

And yeah I'm salty I sold my 991.2 C4 GTS for $103k in May 2020 about a year before prices skyrocketed because I was being FiNaNcIaLlY rEsPoNsIbLe

It's not a big deal to re-gear one. Call Aase Motors in Fullerton.
