Digging though some old stuff I put away and came across this:

Pretty cool huh? I remember how I thought it was so cool when they used to make the tapes different colors like that. And check out the old A.D. Vision logo.

Nothing that special... it just brought me down my anime memory lane.:wiggle:

I remember when fansubs were distributed via cassette.

There is a post-it note on the wall next to the phone in our kitchen with prices of fansubs on them because I was asking my mom if I could buy some back in the day :o How the fuck that thing has stayed up for over ten years I haven't the slightest.

I used to have a shit load of Ranma 1/2 tapes but I sold them at an anime convention a while back. Thinking about Ranma again, I hated always having to explain what I was watching when other people came around.. It was always something like "what just happened to them? he dresses up like a girl? wait, why's he a pig now?"

Shit, I think I remember this. Is that the one where they're all living in a fantasy world on the back of a giant turtle? Good movie.

AnimEigo, US Manga Corps, Streamline, Viz, if you didn't have VHS tapes from all of those distributors you didn't have an anime collection back in the day.

    Streamline's dub of Akira > *.*
