I just thought I'd share one of my tattoos with you guys. Let me know what you think.
what's the kanji mean?
that is beautiful!
"2jz no shit!"
Show us the rest. And what does that kanji mean?
how much was it?
That is pretty... in a super manly kind of way.
thanks for the compliments guys. I paid 200 for it +tip of course. I'll try to dig up some pics of my other tattoos. The chinese characters represent wealth and power.
VERY fucking cool.
niiiice... any chance you have some close up pictures, id like to check out the detail
nice, very fucken nice, original artwork?
I think it's beautiful work. I like the "shadowing" on the kanji, as well.
wow, thats fucking awesome. how long did it take to get done? :eek2:
it took about 2.5-3hrs. thanks all again for the complements....here's a closer one for whoever was requesting it, i don't know if it'll help any. and sorry for the poor quality.
i believe that kanji tattoos are some of the most unoriginal tattoos you can get. but that's just me
I believe that as long as a tattoo has meaning to you, than originality means dick. My Kanji represents the struggle I took on instead of ending my life. But that's just me.
that tat looks incredible. Great detail. I love the chinese traditional style of tatoo. Where'd you get it done.
Looks like it to me.
Kanji is a lot simpler, as far as less strokes, well at least the majority of it. Chinese characters have more little dashes. That's the rule of thumb I use, but if you are looking at it with an american eye, it really comes down to guessing.
kanji refers to japanese characters. chinese characters/kanji maybe unoriginal because a lot of people think its unique and put it on their body....that is not why i have it. i now have chinese characters all the way down my spine which includes "phuoc loc tho," the three characters you always see on scrolls during chinese new years. it means "happiness, longevity and prosperity." i have meanings to the things on my body...not just how i want to relate to it. I had the tat done in SF.
2jz have you any pictures of the symbol for Chaos, Nightmare, Demon, and Eternity? (not on you obviously, but for my personal curiosity)
get a dictionary from barnes and noble or at the library
they're not really easy symbols to find in dictionaries (the ones i've seen don't have them at all)
well....it depends on your usage with them...they will vary.
nice tats... the new one looks tight
