Exactly a year ago today I strarted lifting seriously for the first time in my life. Although this past year has been full of stebacks, it has also been full of amazing achievements. To anyone just strating up lifting, keep at it, get your diet in check, and you will witness amazing results. Strength Progress: March 06 Benchpress: 1RM 215, 155x10 Squats: 135x8 on the smith machine DB Row: 55x10 Underhand Pullups: 5 Widegrip Pullups: 0 Deadlift: 135x5 March 07 Benchpress: 1RM at 295+, 225x12 Squats: 275x8 a2g DB Row: 100x10 Underhand Pullups: 20++ Widegrip Pullups: 12 with extra 35lb Deadlift: 335++x5 At this time last year before my first cut I was 185lb at about 16-17% body fat at 6'. At the end of my cut in May (on 1800cal ) I dropped to 168lb and I was about 10%. Surprisingly enough I was able to gain a significant ammount of strength. Since then I started a clean bulk and continued to grow stronger throughout the year. Right now I am 187lb at around 11%.
