Please help me out as much as you can, any advice is great help. I am 5'6" tall. 28 Years old. About 6 months ago, I was 160lbs and when I had my blood tested, my cholestrol was at 250. This gave me a rude awakening. I got a personal trainer and started doing cardio boot camp, also changed my diet to a low-carb diet ( cutting out starch, sugar, rice, etc. ). Started taking my multi-vitamins daily and fish-oil pills (1000) I now weigh 134 lbs and my cholestrol is at 150. However, i have beginning to lose muscle fat now even though the lower region of my belly is still there and i am trying to lose that fat without compromising the rest of the body. I am starting to see my ribs on the upper region of my belly (which I guess is not a good sign? ) I do weights every other day and only do cardio (threadmill or row machine) once or twice a week. I try to eat a good breakfast everyday but with a 1.5 hour commute to and from work, I hardly have any time in the morning to cook for brkfst so I just take a whey-protein shake and a toast on the go. What can I do to help gain the right muscle withouth gaining weight?
