@zhiniibob what do you know about this somewhat shady stuff Chelsea was doing with the Enzo dealings. Rumour was that they asked Benfica for permission to speak to Enzo and his agent with the intent to pay the release clause, so Benfica was like "ok". But, apparently they never had the intention to pay that amount, turned the kid's head big time and he basically took off for home, missed practices etc. The coach basically called Chelsea out and said he wasn't leaving for less than the clause and now Enzo's gonna get discipline.
Its either that, or Chelsea always went into it with "open" negotiations in mind, and never said anything about paying the full 120 and this is Benfica shooting back at them after not getting the deal done.

Ya thats about what i saw too once the deal fell apart. Maybe Chelsea was feeding info to reporters and such that they were willing to pay the clause, but ya it looks like they only went up to 85mil and it was probably structured af. I do think they were trying to get Enzo on their side to help persuade Benfica. Who knows tho. Same bullshit with Tuchel getting fired, who knows and i doubt we will ever get solid answers. On top of Tuchel, Marina, and Czech leaving we just lost two scouts as well. Todd is shaking shit up and spending money but i dont think anyone is truly enjoying it

Nobody has. Plays for Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine, and has scored a couple of absolute bangers in recent memory. Young kid, runs like the wind and has some swagger.

And Chelsea has 10 injured .. Not gonna say I expected 4, but with players injured this is expected.
I actually didn’t watch the whole game and missed the goal in question. Twitter says that VAR didn’t capture the one guy that was supposedly offside so the ref needed to confirm the call.
Goes to show how much deeper City is than anyone out there. They play their B team vs yours and it’s not even close.
