Found a local shop that I didn't even know existed. I've been sorta looking around for a 1911 and they have a Para PXT 4.25 there for $606, has Novaks, skelenized adjustable trigger, skeletonized hammer. Is this a decent price? Did a little quick research and turned up nothing.

I can get a Tactical RIA for $454 OTD from the same place. I was thinking about it instead of the Para.

Springers are kinda high around here. I'd like to have an officer's model, but they are all out of my price range. Truth be told, even the Para was a little more then I wanted to spend. I'd buy a base RIA commander, but I don't care for the hump and bump sights.

Cool, I stopped by that shop again. They lowered the price on that Para, which got me to thinking about it.

    i had a para tac-4 LDA.

trigger was sweet but the grip was fat as fuck and it FTF'd at least once each mag.

They don't make the Mil-spec's in commander length though.

I don't even "need" a 1911. I found a RIA commander for $430 at another dealer, but I don't know how much it'll cost to get Novaks put on it.

You don't think the RIA is upgradeable?
