Not at the height, but we didn’t end up doing much anyway. Certainly no crowds and wore a mask outside the room.
Didn’t spend time in the casinos, anywhere indoors, no clubs, etc. Safer there than going to the grocery store here for sure.

Mexico is OPEN FOR BUSINESS
as pretty much the only country that will still allow u filthy Americans to visit, we’ve rapidly become the #1 hotspot for the young rich and rarted
that being said, I’ve had a slew of family visit over the holidays (2 at a time) so I’m as guilty as anyone, though we are off camping in the middle of nowheres 95% of the time, wear masks, and avoid any indoor or crowded locations, so I tell myself we’re not super spreaders at least

I’m going to Costa Rica next month, uncle and his wife live there. Miss me with this wild party shit any year but happy to hang on the beach and eat some good ceviche. Wife and I also both had Covid so not really worried about it.
No normal travel happening until 2022 or 2023 so might as well go where you can now. Costa Rica only requires you complete a health survey and have travel health insurance so you don’t burden them.
