How do you sort your pictures by timeline? Your filenames obviously don't line up...I'm curious.
just a shot from the hip,
but i'm thinking you can organize your photos by "time"
Assuming both of the cameras clocks are identical
Yea, I thought of that after I posted. I looked and in LR you can export file names per hour, minute and seconds.
So I can use this to organize my pictures shot with 2 cameras.
Just make sure the clocks are set the same and virtually all viewing programs will have an option to view by time stamp.
I don't start to rename anything until all processing is done. Imagine my shock after renaming that I wanted to change some raw settings and realized I didn't rename the raw file in the same convention.
My D300 file names start with 300_xxxx and my D700 files start with BEN_xxxx. That way, I don't confuse the two cameras an I don't have duplicate files. Both clocks in both cameras are synched down to the second, also.
