will they be able to work with a cingular sim card inserted? tia
Most likeley not. it's extremely likely that your att phone is locked, but try a cingular sim in your phone. if it works, then great, you can use it, if not... unlocking is cheap, there are also diy websites too for nokias
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllll....i did notice something in our activating program the other day that said "non-at&t sim" in the spot where we select what sim card we are using. i havent tried it but if that is there it would make sense that we can make it work. if i remember, i'll try it when i go to work thursday
FWIW, I've had an AT&T (Nokia 6800) locked, and the guy at the cingular store unlocked it for me when I switched to Cingular. I don't know if that was his thing on the side, or a store thing, tho... he didn't charge me.
yes you can. all you have to do is go to attwireless.com and send the settings for mMode and mms to your phone.
and you guys are misunderstanding what he is asking
No. The reverse, yes.
