#5 makes me want to buy insurance.
I'm sorry I don't get it
Er... right ok. :/
I'm seeing a lot of noise for outdoors shots, are you shooting in auto? ISO auto?
Are you serious? My ISO speed was like 400 and I think it may have been auto, silly me
Auto tends to pick shitty combinations of ISO/Aperture sometimes.
For outdoors sunny shots, try using aperture priority mode and set the ISO to 100. The cam will take care of the shutter speed. It will be good to learn DOF control. That lens will probably be sharpest from f/2.8-f/4, but you can certainly play around throughout the whole range.
Squat down sometimes.
how'd you like the fixed focal length?
That's odd though, it says I shot in 400 and I was sure I shot at 100 because I was using M mode and I thought I had set it to 100 :/ I'm confused now.
Meh, I tried taking self portraits and failed, for that I didn't like it very much but ever since I received it and shot a few other things i've given up on macro I love this lens <3
I need to practice more
you took almost every single one of these from a standing position... rendering most of them boring, or average at best.
Learning on a prime takes work, no cheating with a twist of the zoom ring
Like others said, crouch down, get on the ground, stand on tables, find good angles, primes are great for learning because they make you move around and work for the composition.
Oh well thankyou You know in some I was actually on the wet ground
I shall do that and post some more images Thanks for the tips
pics of you??
I see no pics ( but i can see pics in this thread)
Something is wrong with my FF i think. What site are they hosted on?
THey're up there, just scroll down
Couldn't find them in that thread, but did find your Flickr.
Well that's weird, they're in that thread maybe you need to wait a while before they load.
Not gonna leg hump, but you're cute
Hold on, did you see my pictures? Where? People tend to get confused with me and my models :|
