Title says it all. I picked up a red 1998 CBR 600 F3 for valentines day for my girl and I. Imma call her Scarlette since that's my girfriends name (and the bikes red and all...:o )

Not in perfect condition, needs a new left rear fairing and front brake pads here shorltley, but I'm not too worried about the money. In Seattle the bikes run a little more than elsewhere I have noticed

Gosh, went to start it today and couldn't get it to turn over. I finally ended up killing the battery and having to throw a jump pack on it. I was told it's cause I "didn't turn off my fuel" Call me dumb, but that lost me... Any words on this? I would assume he's talking about my reserve?

yeah, thatd be the same shit as on your f2. the dial

im assuming he said that cuz it had been sitting for a long time with the fuel still on, dripping into the carbs and flooding it.

yeah, but the person I got it off of is letting me pay payments, so I was ok with paying a bit more. I was going to give him the cash right there and I made a jesture about payments and he was totally cool with it.
