And it's all one color!
Because it's 82% Ford parts.
Actually, that's the beginnings of a Euro Cougar conversion that never really got off the ground. Since there's no Mercury in Europe, they're all Fords over there. Right now my car future is uncertain, so that project is on hold. I've already got a source to get the Euro-spec taillights and headlights though.
Coming from a Civic DX driver?
I still love Cougars
Cougars aren't bad at all, and yours looks very clean sir.
It'd be badass if Ford put out a SVT model, being that the v6 is the same that was in the Contour.
I like it......
Correct, they're all based on the 'Duratec' engine, though the Cougar has a 2.5 and the Contour uses a 3.0. Its still the same block/heads and everything, just different displacement.
They tried to, the elusive 'Cougar S' model. But after mush miscommunication's between Mercury and SVT, the project was scrapped.
However now, SVT parts from the Cougar S are showing up all over the place, so that helps. Its pretty much possible now to bring a V-6 Cougar up to the SVT spec.
Attached is the ill-fated Cougar S
not bad for a cougar, but I've always thought they look alittle high in the back
It unfortunately inherited a little bit of the Eclipse's Big Butt Syndrome.
