A fellow OT'er shipped me this helmet, all the way to Alberta, Canada for me to sharpie on it. I'm honored

Anyways after a week of not being able to start on it, I finally got it all prepped and painted and my first hour of drawing is finished.

that's just sharpie and clearcoat?
Trying to host higher res photos, but yes.

I spent 6.5 days working on it. Didn't sleep for 80+ hours. Spent 28 sharpies. A quart of clear coat. Won a small award at the car show I drew on it for. Total of ~130 hours work.

The owner didn't pay me (used to be my friend). Then he sold it about 3 weeks ago. Story in a nutshell.

me: hey dude, this other guy is drawing shit i bet i can do better
him: well i got a bike :dunno:
me: okay, lets buy paint and sharpies and get this done
him: okay cool!
me: driven car show is in 8 days! :noes: we should get this done for the show!
him: dude, if you get this done for the show, I will HOOK you up large
me: sounds good man!

I paid my own admission into that show because he kept the free entrance ticket (only 1 per vehicle). I also loaned him money to buy food etc.
I spent $150 of my own money to finish bike.

Haven't seen a penny :o oh well, karma got him good.
