would you go with the light ball or heavy?
i can't remember how many grain the last shit i bought was
Honestly I get what is ever cheapest but still usable.
I use this to check: http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/MosinAmmo.htm
Mosin? Whatevers cheaper, in theory the heavy ball would be a little more flat shooting.
If you have a PSL/Romak3 get the lightball, the heavier stuff beats those to death apparently.
$150 for 800 rounds? Signing the fuck up now..
I just ordered some.
I am going to use the crate for all my 54R
is that decent ammo? corrosive?
Consider all surplus ammo corrosive
Is it corrosive but it does the job. I just flush it with hot water and give it a normal cleaning.
Comes out fine.
150 bux pisses me off.
It was just over a year ago when I was buying cases of this crap for 9-10 cents a round. 30 bux a 300 round tin and 120 bux for 1200 round wood cases.
I only stocked away about 4k of the stuff before it dried up.
i ordered some too hopefully it won't take to long to get here
ammoman has some Yugoslavian
I just bought some of that 800 rnd case stuff for my M-N. Haven't shot it yet though.
I just got two tins of some stuff from Century. $79/ea shipped
Although that wooden crate from AIM is pretty slick.
Someone call? jk
Mine came broken Luckily my dad is pretty good with wood and fixed 'er up, well sorta.
It works, but it's not perfect. Oh well. Shipping can be brutal at times.
I hope mine is okay, it has a long trip
mine showed up in good condition. It was my first "surplus can" so it was a bitch to open up.
