About a week ago i was doing chest exercises, among other things. towards the end of benching i noticed my left shoulder felt a little off - that is my left arm was *almost* popping out of the socket (thats the best way i can describe it). well i didnt think much of it and went on with the rest of my exercised (non chest stuff). Eventually i get to DB bench and am doing about 70 pound dumbbells and then my shoulder got a lot worse the more i did it. like at first i didnt think too much of it but on the third set it got pretty bad and i had to stop. this was last thursday. after that i called it quits and went home. later that night it just got more and more painful and continued to do so until saturday. then it started getting better, and now (its wednesday night here) it doesnt hurt - but if i do just pushups it starts to 'pop out' of the socket. anyone have this happen to them? have i destroyed my tendons or any other cartilage in my shoulder? should i give it mroe time off or what? its really annoying me that i cant lift because i really dont want to screw it up for good.
