Any of you guys use this in your legs routine? How many lbs are you pushing?
The sled in that pic does not hold enough weight for me to use it!!
Some pl's say that the leg press helps their deadlift. I personally would rather do something different, power squat machine, romainian dl's ect...
not many people have access to a power squat machine.
A lot of guys at NGBB use the leg press every week as one of their main accessory movements. I don't remember the number of plates but is usually a shit ton.
Ya, Goggins use to have me do 3 sets of 20 after squats. I did them for years but I think there are other movements that are more benficial that I can spend my time on.
i heard paused reps on the leg press helps a ton for breaking the weight off the floor since it mimics the dynamics of the start of the lift
Yup, Goggins, Clay Castile and Steve Richards are big users of the leg press. I personally don't like the one we have at NGBB because of the footplate but surprisingly the ones at the GT gym are awesome.
