no pics yet, i should have a suppressed P22 in about a month and a half, and a suppressor for my M4gery
no supressed weapons here atleast untill I'm out of this state
I've added some stuff to those, but haven't had a chance to take any pictures of them. Having a Savage 10 in 308 threaded for my Gemtech can, just got my MP5K threaded 1/2x28 so I've got my AAC Phantom on that one. I've got one new suppressor transferring in, an SWR Trident, and may end up picking up an AAC Krink can the first of the year.
Clusive, I believe your avatar is suppose to read "Happiness is a warm belt-fed machine gun"
nice collection you have there.
Thanks, I appreciate that.
I hate you
Yep next handgun will either be a HK or a 1911.. Probably be awhile before I get a HK rifle rather save up for a real one then a parts kit on a vulcan reciever
My HK93 jammed more than my V53 but also I pick up clones because I don't hesitate doing one beta mag dumb after another on either my K or 53. But I do hesitate dumping belt after belt thru my 21, because IMHO it's a true work of art from Terry Dyer. I'm planning on picking up an SP89 and an HK94 but merely to keep in the safe and admire the value of the damn thing going up. But those are gonna come after I get a Colt RR.
Oh also BTW, for purely entertainment value I prefer 1911s. But for a SHTF gun you can't beat an HK handgun except maybe with a Glock
I'de like to get a hk94, the mp5 all h&k or what, happy switch? I wanted an mp5 but I got a 9mm upper for the AR now so I dunno once I'm out of NY ill probably just SBR that.. I'de really like a UMP though. Already got the Glock, time for a HK now
Get a USC and convert it?? I like the USCs and having considered it in the past as a project for myself. However you'll have over $2500 bucks in one and even if in the future you get a HK auto sear you won't be able to use it in the USC.
SBR an AR15 and you're a good bit of the way there, but a happy switch should be somewhere in your future.
whats all this talk about dry/wet suppressors you have to repack ? wet ones every 14-21 shots?
so if im going to get a silencer for my beretta which one should i get.... it has enough barrel to thread..
its a 9mm p92 brigader
Most suppressors in pistol calibers you can shoot wet or dry, however with a medium such as water in the can you will find that water absorb/disturbs alot of the noise so a can with water in it will be much quieter than a dry can. So basically after about 8-15 shots depending on caliber, load, suppressor size etc; you will have to insert more water or whatever you end up using to get that can to its most effective suppression level.
If I were to get 1 9mm suppressor it would be an SWR Trident.
so what are all the requirements to purchasing a class 3 item like that?
nice collection guys
Find a decent NFA dealer around and he'll explain everything to you including the particular local politics that sometimes play a role in getting what you want. Subguns RDL shows:
Dave West - West MFG
Specialties: Class 2
Falmouth, KY 41040
Phone: (859) 654-4570
E-mail: [email protected]
He is a class 2 so he could come in handy later on also.
blkgs4, do you have an SOT, or is this all transferrable stuff you've accrued over the years?
Everything I own is transferrable, I don't have an SOT yet. I was opening a store in Columbus; in which case I would have an SOT. But I'm having to spend too much money on an existing project so the gun shop will have to wait til next year.
Yeah, my buddy was opening a range and store in the Gwinnett area, was trying for northern Gwinnett. Got the $400k+ loan approved, all the way up to getting the building. Come to find out, there are ZERO buildings for lease that fit the layout necessary. I don't know what part of the area you're in, but if you hear of something 10,000 square feet or larger go up for lease or sale, let me know, stat. He looked into pulling a loan for the amount to buy property and BUILD the structure, but that's over $1 million, and for that, they require too much liquid assets. As it stands, he's going to wait until he finishes law school, unless something just pops up here soon.
I've got a building here in Columbus which is about 10K SQ ft. but unfortunately it's in an area where you wouldn't want to run a range/gun shop. I'm building an upscale shopping center with a 1500 sq. ft. retail space which would be perfect for a gun shop. If he's interested in coming to Columbus I'd be more than willing to show him around a couple of areas. Also if he finds a decent spot in Gwinnett, I've got an architect and a builder and can get a 10k sq ft. building up for around $55-$60 a sq ft.
