Had a few HDDs where i saved all my pics and videos in my computer.... they started making noise so I retired them and put them all on a 2tb version of this. Gen3 slot but speeds are great still and its mostly for storage anyways.

Buck 124. Always wanted one, not sure why I didn’t pull the trigger sooner considering I buy every other knife I want. I also had a 20% off coupon from Buck….

whatcha doin with these bad boys?
Keepin it simple. When I've done Australian Wagyu that is thicker cut, I'll usually sous-vide at 130 for ~45 minutes then pat dry, season, quick sear in cast iron. The above is a true A5 and sliced thinner, so I'm thinking of using some of the fat to coat the cast iron, over medium, wait for smoke, then 30 seconds a side max.

You still didn't guess how much I paid! :squint:

If you can get your hands on a Dyson hairdryer plz let me know. I missed it by ONE day! :wtc:
I got my wife the $500 Dyson hairdryer I think for Christmas 2021. We moved recently and I just noticed her old hairdryer by her sink. Then last night I saw her using her old shitty one. I asked “do you not use the hairdryer I got you?” And she said “oh, it broke.”

When???
“Like 3 months after I got it.”
Why didn’t you say something? Where is it?
“I got rid of it. I didn’t think something like a hairdryer would have any kind of warranty.”
…I’m pretty sure a $500 goddamn hairdryer would include some kind of fucking warranty.

I’m pretty salty

Nah dude lol I don’t mess with stuff as nicely marbled as that. I think you can either slice thin and do quick sears or prepare like you’re doing, sous vide then sear. I’ve heard it’s so rich that you don’t really want to prepare it like a normal steak
Yeah this is my first time with the real A5 shit. Seems like medium is more popular than medium-high for this sort of thin cut

I think Lowe's is having a sale on shovels if you need me to pick one up. No questions asked.:coolugh:
Any jury with just one woman on it won't convict you.

I really want the Dyson Airwrap multi-styler, but can't justify it. :o

Just get it. The longer you wait, the less cost/use you'll be able to justify. ;)

Seriously, it's great and with your hair length, you will save so much tiiiime. :bigthumb:

I do trust your judgment so I will look into getting one.

Look at you with the fancy Latin
I must seem so uncultured :(

(partly true)

Friday I was wfh and on a meeting with our CEO and CFO, sitting there on cam with a Grateful Dead hoody and a Yeti trucker cap on

we were making fun of the CFO's PPT skills (he's so fkn bad)

I said something like 'he's not exactly a disciple of the Hudson River School' and everyone did a Leonardo DiCaprio 'what the fuck are you talking about' dot gif

so I quickly explained it was a painting style like Thomas Moran and Frederick Edwin Church but my attempt at humor had bombed

CEO said he didn't realize I was a man of culture (I mean, who would guess, apparently) and CFO said 'oh, he's not like the rest of us'

I said sorry I was just an anthro major faking all this finance stuff :hs: and now they think I'm weird :hs:
