    Are they really bad?

Aren't they pretty much fat-free, sugar free, no sodium, 80% water? They rank high on GI because the carbs are high quality and complex. I don't see how they are gonna hurt unless you are eating them w/ butter, cheese, chocolate, etc...

    Can someone elaborate/correct my thinking?

Do you drink a shake w/ them?

    I am intrigued.

Are you on a bulking / cutting / maintaining diet though?

I'd be at the gym, have my 2 scoops of waxy maize near or at the end of my workout. Get home, drink my whey. About 30 minutes later I'd have my post workout meal, which usually consisted of some lean protein with a sweet potato. I did this as part of a clean bulk...

I'm cutting now though. :wtc: I'm already fucking hungry.

What did your lean protein consist of? Meat?

I just ate what I wanted/available. Usually it'd be one of these or a combination of two - lean beef, salmon, tilapia, chicken breast, ground turkey.. I just made sure to get about 40 g's of protein.
