I have a PB G4 1.25 GHz 15", and in the past it would only get warm if I ran it for a few hours while plugged in. Now, it gets REALLY hot after 30 minutes of just running from the battery... any tips on how to cool it down?

are you running it on a hard surface? have the rubber feet fallen off?

otherwise a fan may have failed :dunno:

Doesn't really seem to matter what surface it's on... carpet, table, my lap... All the rubber feet are still there. The fan still seems to work, it just comes on way sooner than it used to. Last night, I tried blowing all the dust out of it, so maybe that will make a difference :dunno:
