I can't believe no one has seen this yet. I have a copy of it printed out I am thinking about putting it in a binder and carrying it around with me.

Welp, I know what I can read while I'm at work tonight. I read the first few pages and :eek4:. How does this compilation not get thrown in every Brady buncher's face?

  8. Pretty good. I just read most of it. Some of the "facts" were a little suspect, but overall the quality of the information was pretty good.

The gun control people don't care about the data because gun control has never been about reducing crime.

some of the 'facts', like any cited in research, are geared for it's authors. This has been around for years. When I took my research writing class last semester and presented the gun topic to the prof, he said if I used that document as a source it would be a failure. However he said I coudl us it's bibliography to get the actual source documents myself and cite those as long as I had actually pulled them myself. It was not hard to find shortcomings in their research.

For instance where it quotes government websites, see if you can actually find those statistics and fascts AS STATED in that pdf, anywhere on the government's actual website.

If you want some better research, get these:

    http://www.amazon.com/Bias-Against-...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1253114403&sr=8-1

    http://www.amazon.com/More-Guns-Les...=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1253114403&sr=8-3

Then your source can be better than joe blow's website.

PS when actually engaging someone in gun control talks, I always set the stage by asking first; Do you want to talk about gun control facts or gun control emotion? If they say emotion, don't bother. I say I can't make you 'feel' any better and i prefer to discuss facts with those that want to hear them.
