$1299.00 (I believe, could be 1399.00)
for the D80 and the 2 kit lenses...
it hasn't been price costco in a long time
costco return policy ftw
i knew it as price club, so I just call it price costco...I dont really give a fuck as long as everyone knows what i'm talking about
and what is their return policy?
anythign goes for as long as you own it. computers is 6 months, everything else, including food and clothes is unlimited. use an ipod till the HD goes, bring it back. etc
yeah i saw it at my local costco for 1299 also.
the lens aren't that great.
Do they sell the body only?
just about to return my 20d (to costco ) and get store credit for the 30d
849 body only my price
they don't sell the 30d in store do they?
how is that your price?
nikon employee price
hardly worth it, wait for the 40d
he works for nikon?
they only get 150 bucks off?
you'd be surprised how little markup on camera gear there is.
when I got my 10d for employtee pricing, I got a better deal by getting a unopened returned one as an open box deal then with my discount.
bodies have little to no markup. lenses do, accessories do. thats why when you go get a rebel kit only and nothing else, the employees treat you like crap. They make little, and there profit margin for the store goes to the shitter.
ic.... what's the usual mark up for lenses?
Not really for Nikon ... but I get all their discounts ...
Joetabasco is a tech support rep for Nikon Digital line ... he sits about 20 feet from my office/corner/area. I can spit on him while still posting on OT
can you guys even get ahold of the 18-200?
also, why are the lenses that, that camera comes with at costco, such crap?
they are slow lenses.
Cause good lenses cost more than the camera
We can but it takes a while ... you will get anything Nikon sells at a store before it is offered to us.
I think the wait is like 2-4 months
