I remember that a while back someone posted their Pricing structure that they used to charge clients for their work. I remember that had everything from weddings, sports, to commercial magazine pricing.

I tried using the search function on here and potn with no luck, Does anyone have this saved somewhere

Yes exactly, thats why I would like to find this again.

It was an awesome pricing chart, I don't want to be giving out services out for too cheap and undercut other photographers.

Event work 200-250/hr 2 hour minimum.

Red carpet work, typically $1000/flat rate (but this varies by PR agreements as well as photo right to sell, if im allowed to sell the celeb photos the rate goes down a bit, if an exclusivity agreement is reached)

Portraiture - $175 per look, 2 look minimum (does not include MUA)

Sporting events - 150-350/hour 2hour minimum (again varies depending on right to sell content)

Wedding - Still working out my prices. but im thinking of using Tits pricing structure but with a lower price. Maybe 1500-2000 for his 2500 package.


PS: I rarely do flat rate days for events, mainly because i end up working wayyyy more than my normal price would dictate. Exceptions to the rule are if they are unique events (that i would enjoy attending), such as SEMA, PRI, Grand Prixs, and well my Zero G flights (got another one Saturday woohoo expect more flying pics....)

Allot is going to depend on your local market and the client base you are appealling to.

I cater to the theatre/charity markets over here for my client work. I also sell allot of art so my target market comes to me through that scene.

My price list looks like this:

$350 per hour for events, 2 hour minimum

$125 per hour for Portrait work + enlargments are additional $

$200 base price for headshots and portfolio work

Well Since it seems like everyone has their own little pricing chart, I'm going to go through some of my local photographers websites for specific pricing. And I'll update it at the top.

The prices that I'm listing above are what would be a resonable amount for photographers in my area. I'm located in SLC, UT.

If anyone disagrees with anything let me know.
