Hey everyone, I was hoping that some people with stock photography experience could help me out. My Professor is publishing a textbook and the publisher recently contacted me to ask if I was willing to let them use one or two of my photos for the book. They haven't mentioned anything about money, but I'm not going to let them use my photos for free. Do any of you know if publishers typically have their own pricing tables based on the publication type, print run, image size, etc.? And should I ask them for that or ask them about the intended use and give them a quote? Also, I'm not allowed to license an image unless I have model releases for all people within the photo right? (Even if the photo was taken internationally or in public) Thanks.
