I went into this film with very high expectations and I regret it. Having heard so much about how this movie was what made Ed Norton is today I had impossibly high hopes for it, but overal it is a very good film. I kept saying, I know he's an act but when it was finally revealed I was still genuinely shocked. I just also discovered Cuba Gooding Jr. won the supporting oscar that year for his role in Jerry Maguire. "show me the money" isn't really worthy of oscar recognition, but he still won BTW, the main reason why I'm so shocked at myself is Ed Norton's one of my favourite actors to watch so it's hard to imagine I have waited this long to see his defining role.
