how the crap do you do it? I searched google a bit and it didn't come up with many helpfull links.
You mean like a screen capture?
cmd-shift-3 to screen capture to a file
cmd-ctrl-shift-3 to screen capture to the clipboard
I dunno if it still works, but in OS 9, capslock-apple-shift 4 used to let you click on an open window and print only that window to a picture.... they don't seem to have brought the feature over to OS X though
It's not capslock
Command+Shift+4 is to crop the area you want a screen shot of
It works in all version of the Mac OS, including OS X...although I'm not sure about OS6 but that doesn't matter much any more.
Add a [+ spacebar] to that...and it'll let you take a shot of a specific window. The 'crosshairs' will turn to a camera...and you're set.
Might help if you checked out the Sticky thread on this forum before making threads.
