So are 30rd Pro-Mag AK47 mags any good?
I hear the newer ones are good. They have a lifetime warranty, but mags are only ~$15 for steel ones. Might as well go with something that you know will work.
AIM the best place to get them?
I've always had good luck with AIM. My friend bought a couple of those Korean 30 rounders. If I'm not too busy this weekend I was going to take a couple of my AKs and see how they ran. I would imagine they are built used tooling bought from some com-bloc country so they should be good to go.
They make good targets.
I had one, it worked okay (no jams) but the lips would spread when loaded and you couldn't insert the mag. You would have to pop the lips back together.
